Blog #34: Fulfilling a Life-Long Dream

                                     

Bon Jour from Paris! 

Traveling to Paris with my husband on our 20th anniversary is fulfilling a life-long dream! Ever since I was young I have always wanted to travel and "see the world." It has been a dream that I have worked toward. What dreams do you have for the future? Would you like to travel? Attend a sporting event? Or make a special purchase? What life-long dreams do you have? Tell me about your plans and how you plan to accomplish it. Don't forget to include a picture and 5 sentences minimum. After you have completed the blog go to typing web and complete the lesson titled "Advanced Wrap Up". When you are done with the typing lesson go to game star mechanic and create your own game. When I return, I want to see your games. I will put them up on the projector and try to play them. If, as a class, you behave on Wednesday, the sub can show a movie on Friday. I have left the decision of allowing you to watch the movie entirely up to her... Behave and be respectful at all times.

Blog #33: What Are Your Favorite Junk Foods?

Good Afternoon Class,

Today I want you to tell me about your favorite junk food?  What do you like to eat?  Where can you get buy it?  Why is it your favorite?  Remember 5 sentences minimum!

After you are done with your blog go to typingweb.com and complete the lesson titled "The Numeric Keypad." Once you are done with typing web go to the Gamestar Mechanic website and create an account.  After you have created an account click on the "Get Started" button on "Addison Joins the League."  This is a free account... all the other accounts are paid. Once insode "Addison Joins the League" click on the "Quest" button. Here, you will learn about game theory and game creation.  Your goal is to finish the Quest, then later create a game of your own.

Today I want you to invent a new kind of sandwich. Describe what is on it and how you would make it.   Don't forget 5 sentences minimum, and you must include a picture.
When you are done with your blog I want you to use your time to work on your website or make-up any missing typingweb lesson you may be behind on.  This is a period to work... NOT FREE TIME!!!!
