Blog #12: Favorite Ice Cream

Today you will tell the world what is your favorite ice cream. With all the flavors in the world what is the ultimate ice cream you would choose to eat if you had the chance? What Ice cream flavor would you invent if you had the chance? Have fun, be inventive, anything goes. Remember to have number and title your blog, at least 1 picture, and 5 comments. As soon as you are done please finish your typing lessons from Wednesday and take a Typing Test.  If you get done early you may play any of the typing games.

Blog #11: Hardest Rule to Follow

In your life you have many rules. At home, at school, at church, and many other places. What is the hardest rule you have come across during your life that is extremely hard to follow. Is it a rule you always break and get in trouble for? Is it a rule that you follow but wish was not a rule? Pleas tell me about the rule, why you don't like the rule, why the rule is hard to follow, why you think the rule is in place, and anything else you can say about the rule. Blog #10: Cereal Box Surprise

Cereal companies try to entice customers by placing all kinds of prizes in their boxes; toys, gadgets, and games are just a few examples.  If you could find any prize, what surprise would you like to find in a cereal box?  Why?  Remember it has to fit in a cereal box. Use your imagination and have fun with this one. Don't forget your 5 & 5: Five sentences minimum and comment on five other blogs when you are done.  After you have finished go to Typing Web and complete the lesson titled "Speed Drills."

Blog #9: What's for Dinner?

If you could have anything for dinner what would it be? Steak? Pizza? Lobster? Pretend that you have to cook dinner for your family and you have to plan the menu, tell me "What's for Dinner?" Tell me the main dish, side dish, dessert, beverages that you would serve at tonight's meal. You may also include how you would make your food, or what you would have to do to get ready to bring it to your table. Remember, 5 sentences, title, picture, and 5 comments on other students blogs. Have fun with this one, anything is possible.

When you are done with your blog complete typing lesson "Numbers Letters Numbers" then TAKE A TYPING TEST!!!  Later we will work on Pixlr... We will learn how to remove a background and how to put hair on a bald guy :)

Blog #8 Why is the Government Shut Down?

Hello class, as you may have heard from one source or another, the Federal Government has shut down. There are many sides to this story, so for today's blog I would like you to do the following:

  1. Tell me as of right now what you have heard and what you think of the situation.
  2. After you have told me your thoughts, please do a Google search on "Why the government is shut down". Read a few of stories and then tell me what your thoughts are now.
  3. Tell me who you think are most affected by this shutdown.

Blog #6: Dream Pet

Remember to number and title your blog, 5 sentences, 1 picture, 5 comments.  When you are finished please go to typingweb.com/tutor, log in, and take a Typing Test--DO NOT COMPLETE THE NEXT LESSON.  Once you are done with the test then you may work on your Mystery Presentation.  IT IS DUE TODAY.


If you are behind in anything because of absences, use today to catch-up.  You should have plenty of time to write your blog, take a typing test, and finish your Mystery Presentation. If you are behind on any typing lessons, today is the day to make them up!!!!  I will be grading typing and presentations over the weekend.  If you are done with everything, you may play a game, but it must remain quiet for others in the classroom who are trying to make-up work.
