What are your thoughts on Cryptozoology?  Don't know what that is?  Google it, then write your post on what you think about it and if you could choose one example as your favorite, what would it be.  Remember 5 sentences, title your blog post, add a picture, and finally comment on 5 other students blogs.

Blog #4: Favorite Theme Park

Good Afternoon Students,

Everyone loves theme parks: Disneyland,  Magic Mountain, Great America. What is your favorite theme park? Why? What do you love about it? What is your best memory at a theme park? If you have never been, which one would you like to go to and why?  Remember 5 sentences, title, picture, and 5 comments on other students blogs..

When you are done with your blog (and commenting on 5 others) go to Typing Web and take a typing test.  At 1:40 we will begin our lesson on Google Draw.  

Blog #3: What Are You Watching?

It’s a New school year which means a start to a new TV season. What Returning TV show are you most excited about starting up again. Why are you excited about this show? Or What New TV show are you most excited to see? Why are you excited to see it? Remember 5 sentences, a picture, a title, and commenting on the blog posts of three other class members.

When you are done finish Typing Web Lesson "Easy Home Row Word."  You may play typing games when you are done with the typing lesson. 

Today we will complete a lesson on "Scams and Schemes" on the internet and how to spot them.

College football started recently and the NFL is underway.  Tell me about your favorite team or teams, why you like them, and who you watch the games with.  If you are not that into football, tell me about another sport that you and your family enjoy watching together.  Make sure to include an image. Don't forget to capitalize, punctuate, and reread your post before you publish it for any errors.  After you are done, please comment on the other posts from students in your row.  If there is still time left over, you can read and comment on 5 other students' posts in the class.  Happy blogging!  Don't judge!

Blog #1: Favorite Place in California

Good Afternoon Class,

Please write a paragraph about your favorite place in the state of California. Find an image to show that place, and comment on each other's blogs about if you've been to that place or not, and what you might like or enjoy about going to that place.  You must write a minimum of 5 sentences.

Many call Disneyland "The Happiest Place on Earth" and our family is no exception.  Every time we venture down to the magic kingdom we always have a great time!

When you are done with your blog, go to your email and open the email I sent you.  You will adding the blog address to people you follow.  I will give instructions on how to do this!!!! 

After you have added all the addresses you need to finish "Venturing Out" on Typing Web.  You will also need to take a TYPING TEST today!!!!

Good Afternoon Class,

Looking at the disappointing results of  Tuesday's assignment, I have decided that we need to revisit the skills taught in this lesson and EVERYONE will need to re-do the assignment.  I will give you information in class on how to complete the assignment online.

Second, you will need to go to Typing Web.  Today instead of completing the next lesson, you will take a "TYPING TEST."  We will take a typing test every Thursday to chart improvement.

Third, every student needs to join my Edmodo "Exploring Tech" class.  If you already have an Edmodo account the class code is 2tbcur. If you do not have an Edmodo account you will need to sign up today for a student account.  I will walk the class through this process.

Lastly, today we will create a document in Google Docs.  After you have completed this assignment, you will need to turn it into Edmodo.  I will show the class how to do this.
