Post #33: The Best Gift Ever

Gifts are often a focus of Christmas day. Describe the best gift you have GIVEN someone else. Explain who that person was, what you gave them, why you gave them that specific gift, and what made that gift-giving experience special. Or describe the best gift you ever RECEIVED from someone else.  Who gave it to you, what did they give you, why they gave it to you and what made it so special.

Rosa Parks December 1, 1955On December 1, 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks refused to obey a bus driver's order that she give up her seat to make room for a white passenger.  Rosa Park's quiet and courageous act of defiance became an important symbol of the Civil Rights Movement and the resistance to racial segregation. She has been nationally recognized as the "mother of the modern day civil rights movement" in America.  Choose one of the prompts below
