Post #26: Interesting Web Story

Hello Class,

Today you will write a post about the most interesting web story you have seen or heard recently.  Are there any interesting videos, pictures or stories that have been in the news or on your radar lately?  Don't forget 5 sentences, add a photo, then go out and comment on 5 other blogs.  After you are finished, go to Typing Web and finish Tuesday's lesson titled Numbers Letters Numbers." If you have already finished the lesson, then you may play any typing game until we start our Audacity lesson.

If you could have lunch with any famous person who would it be? What would you talk about with this person?

Post #23: Pigs-in-a-Blanket Day

April 24th is “Pigs-in-a-Blanket” day.  
Create a new dish using hot dogs as the main ingredient.  
Or describe your favorite hot dog dish. Don't forget 5 SENTENCES!!!
When you are done, go to typing web and complete the lesson titled 
"Most Common English Words".
When we are done with typing today, we will finish up our Pixlr lesson and turn it in.

Post #22: My Favorite Kindergarten Memory

April 21st is “Kindergarten Day.”  The first kindergarten was founded by Friedrich Froebel in Germany in 1837.  Think back to your days in kindergarten.  What is your favorite memory? Don't forget 5 SENTENCES!!!!
When you are finished with your blog to to Typing Web and complete the lesson titled "Basic Punctuation." After we are done with our typing lesson, we will continue our photo-editing unit.

April is “National Humor Month.” Tell the class your favorite joke (school appropriate, of course). Can't think of a good joke?  Go to the web and find one. Use the key search terms "Jokes for kids". Pick your favorite to share with the class.
When you are done go to Typing Web and TAKE A TYPING TEST. 

DO NOT START A NEW LESSON TODAY!!!

Make sure you have logged in before you take the typing test, otherwise I will not be able to see your results.

April 10th was “National Sibling Day.”  If you have a sibling, explain what activities you enjoy doing with them.  If you don’t have a sibling, would you like one?  Why or why not?
